Wedi'u creu gan 12 o blant mewn gofal maeth ar draws Ynys Môn a Gwynedd, ochr yn ochr â'r artist â phrofiad o ofal, Mary Ainsworth, mae'r cynfasau hyn yn dathlu'r bobl, y lleoedd a'r atgofion sy'n helpu plant i deimlo'n gysylltiedig ac yn gartrefol.

Created by 12 children in foster care across Anglesey and Gwynedd, alongside care-experienced artist Mary Ainsworth, these canvasses celebrate the people, places and memories that help children feel connected and at home.

Thank you to everyone who came to see the artwork at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Anglesey last week, including Councillor Gary Pritchard, Council Leader; Councillor Dyfed Wyn Jones, Portfolio Holder – Children, Young People and Families Services; and Fôn Roberts, Director of Social Services and Head of Children Services, Isle of Anglesey County Council.

Roedd yn bleser croesawu Rocio Cifuentes, Comisynydd Plant Cymru, i stondin Maethu Cymru ar faes Eisteddfod yr Urdd Ynys Môn ddoe. Diolch iddi am gymryd amser i sgwrsio gyda’n gofalwr maeth, Kirsty, yn dilyn lansiad strategaeth dair blynedd newydd y Comisynydd i gefnogi plant a phobl ifanc ledled Cymru.

It was a pleasure to welcome Rocio Cifuentes, Children’s Commissioner for Wales, to the Foster Wales stand at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Anglesey yesterday. Thank you to her for taking the time to chat with our foster carer, Kirsty, following the launch of the Commissioner’s new three-year strategy to support children and young people across Wales.
