Cuepoint Darts & Snooker for under-18s is really starting to build momentum, and it’s brilliant to watch it grow.

❤️ Amazing turnout for Defibrillator Training in Llanfyllin Public Institute ❤️

We’re really pleased to share that a brilliant group of Llanfyllin residents took part in defibrillator training this week, organised by the Rotaract Club of Welshpool and delivered by amazing Voluntary First Responders 👏

It was great to see so many people giving up their time to learn life-saving skills and build confidence in using a defibrillator. The more people who know what to do, the safer our town becomes.

🚑 Save a Life Training in Llanfyllin 🚑

Welshpool Rotaract are bringing a free Basic Life Saving Skills session to Llanfyllin and it is something every local resident should consider doing.

This hands-on session will give you the confidence to act in an emergency, whether it is a family member, a friend, or a stranger who needs help.

📅 Saturday 7 February 2026
⏰ 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
📍 Llanfyllin Public Institute

You will learn how to:
• Recognise the signs of a heart attack
• Perform CPR from babies to adults
• Deal with serious bleeding
• Help an unconscious person
• Handle choking emergencies
• Use a defibrillator safely

There are only 15 spaces so booking is essential.

The course is delivered free of charge by experienced Ambulance Service Community Responders. A small donation to them on the day is kindly requested.
