Want to become a firefighter? 🚒

In preparation for our planned full-time firefighter recruitment campaign next year, we're running a series of ‘Meet the Team’ and ‘Experience Day’ events across North Wales this autumn.

Whether you're just starting to explore your options or seriously considering a future career with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, these events are a great place to start.

We welcome applications from everyone and are committed to building a workforce that reflects the diverse communities we serve - we particularly encourage people from underrepresented groups to explore a career with us.

The events will give you an opportunity to:
- Meet firefighters and staff from across the Service.
- Learn about the role and recruitment process.
- Find out about the physical requirements and how to prepare.
- Try on fire kit and get hands-on with equipment at our Experience Days.

Eisiau dod yn ddiffoddwr tân? 🚒

Wrth baratoi ar gyfer ein hymgyrch recriwtio diffoddwyr tân llawn amser a gynlluniwyd ar gyfer y flwyddyn nesaf, rydym yn cynnal cyfres o ddigwyddiadau 'Cwrdd â'r Tîm' a 'Diwrnodau Darganfod' ledled Gogledd Cymru yr hydref hwn.

P'un ai ydych chi newydd ddechrau meddwl am eich opsiynau neu'n ystyried o ddifrif yrfa yn y dyfodol gyda Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru, mae'r digwyddiadau hyn yn lle gwych i ddechrau.

Rydyn ni’n croesawu ceisiadau gan bawb ac rydyn ni wedi ymrwymo i adeiladu gweithlu sy'n adlewyrchu'r cymunedau amrywiol rydyn ni’n eu gwasanaethu - rydyn ni’n annog pobl o grwpiau sydd wedi'u tangynrychioli i ystyried gyrfa gyda ni.

Bydd y digwyddiadau yn rhoi cyfle i chi:
- Gwrdd â diffoddwyr tân a staff o bob rhan o'r Gwasanaeth.
- Dysgu am y rôl a'r broses recriwtio.
- Cael gwybod am y gofynion corfforol a sut i baratoi.
- Gwisgo cit tân a chael profiad ymarferol o ddefnyddio offer yn ein Diwrnodau Darganfod.

Am 1.45pm ddydd Gwener, cymerodd staff o bob rhan o'r Gwasanaeth rhan mewn munud o dawelwch i gofio'r rhai a gollodd eu bywydau, yr ymatebwyr brys a wasanaethodd gyda dewrder a phawb yr effeithiwyd arnynt gan ddigwyddiadau 9/11.
At 1.45pm on Friday, staff from across the Service observed a minute’s silence to remember those who lost their lives, the emergency responders who served with courage and all those affected by the events of 9/11.

Am 1.45pm bydd staff o bob rhan o'r Gwasanaeth yn cymryd rhan mewn munud o dawelwch i gofio'r rhai a gollodd eu bywydau, yr ymatebwyr brys a wasanaethodd eu cymunedau yn ddewr a phawb yr effeithiwyd arnynt gan y digwyddiad trasig hwn.

Candles are cosy, but they can be dangerous if left unattended 🕯️

Always use candles responsibly:
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep candles away from flammable objects.
• Always blow out candles before bed or when leaving a room.

Ensure that you have working smoke alarms by testing them once a week and in the event of a fire, call 999.

Diwrnod Gwasanaethau Brys 🚨 Emergency Services Day 🚨

Heddiw yw Dydd 999, diwrnod cenedlaethol i gefnogi ein cyd-weithwyr yn y GIG a gwasanaethau brys 🚒🚓🚑

Bydd staff ar draws y Gwasanaeth yn cymryd rhan mewn dwy funud o dawelwch am 9am bore ‘ma i gofio pawb sydd wedi marw wrth gyflawni eu dyletswydd.
Today is 999 Day, a national day to support our NHS and emergency services colleagues 🚒🚓🚑

Staff from across the Service will take part in a two minute silence at 9am this morning to remember all who have died in the line of duty.
