When an air ambulance is called, it can be the worst day of someone’s life.

The care doesn’t end at the scene. Wales Air Ambulance supports patients and families long after an incident.

Whether it's rehab guidance, family support, bereavement support, or simply being there to listen – our Patient Liaison Nurses go the extra mile.

This is only possible because of supporters like you.

Every Mission Starts With You.

Music, heritage and lifesaving support came together at Llandaff Cathedral this Lent.

Candlelight concerts helped attract new audiences, celebrate Wales’ rich heritage and raise £3,153 for our charity as it marks its 25th anniversary.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the concerts possible and helped turn music into lifesaving support.

One of Wales’ oldest cathedrals is using the power of music to attract new audiences and raise funds to preserve its heritage and help save lives.

Did you know Air ambulance teams bring the hospital to the patient, performing critical procedures such as blood transfusions, sedation, anaesthesia and more at the scene?

Every crew member is highly trained to deliver expert care in the most challenging situations. These highly skilled professionals provide critical care wherever and whenever it is needed most.

None of this would be possible without public support - Every Mission Starts With You.

By supporting Wales Air Ambulance, you help make this lifesaving care a reality.

Did you know air ambulance crews don’t work alone?

They regularly collaborate with NHS ambulance teams, fire and rescue services, police, search and rescue teams, and more - all working together to give patients the best possible chance of survival.

This seamless teamwork saves lives every day.

Behind every mission is the support of the public - because Every Mission Starts With You.

Thank you to all our incredible colleagues across the emergency services.

Emma Runciman is now on Day 4 of the Dragon’s Back Race, one of the world’s toughest mountain races, covering an incredible 380km and 17,400m of ascent along the mountainous spine of Wales.

Emma is taking on this epic challenge in memory of her sister, Megan Brown, and she is absolutely smashing it!

We couldn’t be prouder of Emma and everything she is achieving in Megan’s memory.

If you’d like to support Emma’s fundraising and help her reach her goal, you can donate here - https://www.justgiving.com/page/dragons-back-2026?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
