๐ŸŽ† LLANDUDNO FIREWORKS DISPLAY 2026 ๐ŸŽ†

Join us on Tuesday 27 October at 7pm at North Shore Beach, Llandudno for this yearโ€™s spectacular fireworks display!

๐ŸŒง๏ธ Backup date: Wednesday 28 October at 7pm, should weather conditions prevent Tuesdayโ€™s display. Both dates are weather dependent.

โฐ The display is tide dependent, so timings have been carefully chosen to ensure the event can be operated safely. In 2026, these are the closest dates to the 5th of November at which the tide time and range is most favourable.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Donations towards the display are very welcome โ€” collectors will be on the promenade on the night.

๐Ÿšซ Please note: Fireworks, including sparklers, are not permitted within the event site.

๐ŸŽ‡ We look forward to seeing you there! ๐ŸŽ‡

Town Twinning Visit to Wormhout, France
3rd โ€“ 7th July 2026

What an incredible few days for the Llandudno Town Twinning visit to Wormhout!

From 3rdโ€“7th July, our delegation enjoyed a packed programme of friendship, remembrance, culture, music and community.

The visit began with a warm welcome in Wormhout and a very special celebration for Revd Mike Harrison, following his amazing charity cycle ride from Llandudno to Wormhout. ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ

We paid our respects at La Plaine au Bois, Wormhout Cemetery and the Wormhout War Memorial, remembering those affected by the tragic events of the past. Wreaths were also laid at Llandudno Alley.

There was plenty of time to enjoy the culture and hospitality of our twin town too, with a visit to Lille, a parade and Mass in Esquelbecq, and a wonderful Civic Lunch hosted by our French friends.

A huge highlight was the fantastic performances from the Powerplay Dancers, who entertained audiences with their energy and talent at concerts throughout the weekend. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽถ

We were also delighted to attend the opening of the exhibition of paintings of Llandudno at the Mรฉdiathรจque, followed by an evening of music and celebration in the town square.

Most importantly, the weekend was about friendship โ€” spending time with our wonderful host families, meeting old friends, making new ones, and strengthening the special bond between Llandudno and Wormhout. โค๏ธ

A heartfelt thank you to everyone in Wormhout who made us so welcome, to our host families, performers, both Town Twinning Committees, drivers and everyone who helped make the visit such a memorable success.

Until next time, Wormhout โ€” ร  bientรดt!
