Our tireless team are always looking for cutting edge ways to take the Gospel into the deepest corners of youth culture; going where churches alone could not hope to venture. Every week we work with 50-300 young people from all over Llandudno, fr

om every background and walk-of-life. Jesus does not discriminate so neither do we. As part of National Youth for Christ we team up with towns and cities from all over the UK and beyond to share the good news of Jesus relevantly with this generation. For the sake of the Gospel, and the future of young people, we need your support and your partnership to see this generation rise up and be counted for Jesus. Isaiah 43:19

DID YOU KNOW…. We offer specialist youth, children and families ministry training at Llandudno Youth for Christ?

Some of it – like our Safeguarding course – comes certified by CPD

Some of it – like this one we’re doing today (our youth worker academy) – has been used in universities for the last seven years, and is going through the accreditation process as we speak

Some – like ‘why do young people leave church’ – is based off long-term research projects

And some – like ‘how to pioneer from scratch’, ‘how to make your church more youth friendly’, and ‘how to do youth work without a youth worker’ – were written for specific groups who asked us to.

Combined Colwyn and Llandudno Youth for Christ Prayer and Pancakes this Sunday from 5-6pm in The Garage, LL30 2YF.

A great chance to pray for young people in North Wales along with the projects Youth for Christ have created to reach them.

They'll be home made pancakes, real coffee, and fantastic people there! Hope you can make it.

Hi everybody – really excited to announced that were having a COMBINED prayer gathering next month with both Llandudno and Colwyn Youth for Christ.

Same time and place, 5-6pm in The Garage, LL30 2YF – but we look forward to welcoming our partners from Colwyn to pray for the projects they do across Colwyn Bay and Old Colwyn, as well as praying for Llandudno projects and young people across North Wales.

And they’ll be pancakes!

Hi everybody

In just over two weeks we'll be having our Annual Celebration night & AGM.

This is a really important night for us to share all that we've done this year, and where we're gong at Llandudno Youth for Christ.

As you might know, we're making every effort this year to visit as many local churches as possible, and strengthen the ties between us and the local church. So we'd really love it if you were able to make space to be with us that night.

You'll see lots of pictures and videos, have an opportunity to visit our new youth centre, you'll hear from the young people themselves, as well as the Director, Chair, and Treasurer. They'll be opportunities to pray together and times of sung worship - it will be a brilliant night!

Hey there, do you have a passion to share the Good News of Jesus with young people? Llandudno Youth for Christ is on the hunt for a dedicated, part-time youth worker to join our team!

As a committed youth worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. So, if you’re a passionate, self-motivated youth worker with a love for Jesus and for young people – and are looking for a way to grow your skills – this could be the perfect role for you!

You will require communication skills, patience, and resilience to help navigate challenging situations with teenagers. It's important that you have good judgement and an open-minded approach as each young person has different needs. To be successful, you should possess enthusiasm, positivity, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to supporting young people.

After years of doing high-output projects, Llandudno Youth for Christ moved all our work online during the pandemic, and since then have kept our in-person project output small. We did this so we could focus on building an amazing bespoke youth centre which we believe is set up to be one of the best in Britain. The centre is almost finished, so we’re turning our attention to building a brand-new project base. This role has been created to serve that strategy.

Hours: Part time. 16hours a week

Salary: In the range of £21,000 – 23,000 pro rata, depending on experience and qualifications

Other benefits: Office space & computer or tablet provided. Support towards mobile phone bill and other agreed expenses.

Training: You will receive ongoing professional development in youth mission and ministry to a very high standard, including access to books and conferences.

Closing Date: 01 Jun 23

Location: Llandudno, North Wales.

Free training night: Monday, 17th April, 6-8pm. Becoming a “youth friendly” church.

Thinking proactively about becoming a youth-friendly church is an important step for any congregation that wants to engage with more generations. This free training will provide valuable insights and practical tips on how to create a welcoming environment for young people.

The event will cover topics such as understanding the needs and interests of young people, creating engaging programs, building long-lasting relationships, and developing effective communication. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other churches and share their own experiences and ideas.

By attending this training event, churches can learn how to better connect with young people in their community and create a space where they feel valued and supported. This can lead to increased participation in worship, stronger relationships between generations, and a more vibrant and dynamic congregation overall.

There are eight spaces left, so please let us know if you’d like to come.
