Below is the plan of the electoral boundary for Llandrindod Wells and is the only area which falls within the remit for Llandrindod Wells Town Council.

The main A483 trunk road is fully managed by the Mid & North Wales Trunk Road Agency.

All other roads fall within the remit of Powys County Council

Pride in Place Funding awarded to Llandrindod Wells Town Council

How Llandrindod Wells plans to spend its £83,000 of Pride in Place funding

The Town Council is proud to be the initial primary sponsor of this choir and was delighted to award a grant of £250. This was also matched by donations from the Mayor, Cllr Steve Deeks-D'Silva and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Kim Nicholls from their respective allowances.

Last night the choir gathered at the Bandstand with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, parents and guardians.

Thanks to the team of people who have put this choir together including Lorraine Cadwallader-Jones and Mandy Davies who are pictured below.

Today was a very special day for the Llandrindod Wells Children's Community Choir.
Together with choir leaders Mandy Davies and Lorraine Cadwallader-Jones they were delighted to meet with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Llandrindod Wells Town Council at our beautiful bandstand on Temple Gardens to say a heartfelt thank you for their incredible support and sponsorship.
Their generous start-up grant has helped us get this wonderful community choir off the ground, giving local children the opportunity to develop their confidence, friendships and musical talents while performing for our community.
To show their appreciation, the children sang one of the songs they have been working so hard on, and it was a truly magical moment. After days of miserable weather, the sun came out and Temple Gardens looked absolutely stunning – the perfect setting for such a special occasion.
Watching them perform with such joy and enthusiasm reminds us exactly why this choir was created.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Llandrindod Wells Town Council, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor for believing in our vision and investing in the young people of our town. Your support is helping create something very special.
