Do you know someone who makes your estate, street or community a better place?
It could be a kind neighbour, someone who helps tackle litter, or just someone who always brings a smile to your face 😊
We want to celebrate them!

⚡ Electrical Quality Surveyor (Housing)
📍 North Powys
🕒 37 hours per week – Permanent

About the role:
You’ll be responsible for carrying out statutory electrical testing, remedials and installations, completing certification in line with NICEIC regulations, and providing electrical guidance and supervision to Housing Service staff.

🔍 RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY

Shelter Cymru is looking for people to participate in research that explores experiences of applying for and/or being offered social housing, as well as what people want from a social home

If you are happy to be interviewed by a Shelter Cymru Peer Researcher, are over 18, and have experience of being on a social home waiting list, being offered a social home, or living in social housing, we’d love to hear from you.

This research aims to deepen our understanding of how the social housing application process is experienced, as well as what people want from a social home. We hope this research will identify ways to improve the process people go through to get a social home and ensure social housing meets the needs of tenants.

The interviews will last no longer than one hour and can take place by video or telephone call. You can have a support worker with you if you would prefer, and you will be given a £15 shopping voucher as a thank you for taking part.
