Disappointingly the roads around Trap have still not been gritted at all so there are large areas of compacted ice. Some areas are clear from Trap to us thanks to the farmers clearing these roads over the past few days. We would not advise travelling to us. Cyngor Sir Gâr - Carmarthenshire County Council

Public service announcement! 📣 We're delighted to announce that we've used our Community Benefit Fund to give several lucky Carmarthenshire landowners a day in court! Everyone likes a nice day out in court, don't they? ⚖️

After spending much of your Welsh Pension fund money on expensive barristers and first-class train travel for their interns, we today successfully bullied a handful of mostly elderly landowners to allow us to put some bat boxes up in their trees for a few weeks. 👊👊

This is a great victory for Green Energy, the people of Wales and an excellent use of court time. 👍 While there are real problems to solve, we decided to send a huge number of highly-qualified legal minds to clog up the court! ❤️

The video of Mrs Delyth Evans, 80 from Cilycwm, weeping in the court as she signs her licence, will be available on our TikTok page shortly 🎞️😊

Announcements made in the autumn Budget, including tax changes and wage increases, have caused concern among young farmers and the wider farming community.

With events planned in London next week, there are plenty of ways YFC members can show support for British farmers on 19 November 2024.
You and your club can:

☑️ Write to your local MP. Find your MP 👉 https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP

☑️ Speak to your school/college/workplace to ask if they can encourage people to wear their boots on 19 November. There is a story in the press at the moment about a 15 year old from County Durham who has organised for this to happen at their school.

☑️ Post positive messages about British farming on social media on 19 November 2024 to show your support for British farmers.
