I love lavatory jokes as much as the next person, and it is a worry public money is being used on a public consultation on the way toilet function is designed for the future! But as it makes such a change from other things going down the pan(!) if you want to have your say - whatever it maybe - click on the link below for the opportunity to be part of the consultation on this Defra / Welsh Gov collab on loo design

We want your views on changes to address backflow from WC cisterns and innovations in the design of WC suites.

This government consultation may be important to some of my farming pals. Please do take a moment to have a look as it is your opportunity to have your say.

We want your views on using feed products to reduce methane emissions from livestock.

Just had a quote for the oil for my central heating (I know! But for the uninitiated it’s rural life) Anyhoooo! It has come down by 20p a litre since last month. Perhaps Shell and all the other petrol (can we still call it that) companies would like to follow suit!

After gathering myself and my thoughts over the last 10 days, I am re-energised and ready to rumble. I am so grateful to the people who put their trust in me by putting their X next to my name. Please be assured that no matter the result I will continue to work hard for LV through my day job and beyond. To Simon Hart MP Samuel Kurtz MS Suzy Davies Michael Bryan James Wallice Cllr Clements and the awesome Ms DG 🙏 thank you for all your support on and off the campaign trail.

I think there is still so much information we need to give voters to ensure they can make an informed decision, whether voting in local, Senedd, or UK Gov elections. And maybe that is where I will focus my efforts over the next few years.

To those who didn’t vote for me because of Boris, or party gate etc, I respect your decision. I would only repeat what I said on the doorstep. There is every chance the PM won’t be here for the next five years, however the make up of your local council as voted in on 6th May, will be - until 2027!

With that thought in mind I am now off to sort a wedding, my own graduation, and a big birthday with a big fat 0 on the end 😂

See you all soon and thanks again!

I have met many people whilst canvassing. The conversations were wide ranging, but all had a common theme. The council is not doing enough for rural communities. I want to change this. I want to put rural communities, and specifically Lampeter Velfrey ward, front and centre. I don’t want to run the council, I want the community to be key in the decision making at the council. Remember the decisions we make today will impact our everyday lives for the next 5 years.

I have, as the saying goes, nailed my colours to the mast. I have been clear about my values. Even knowing there will be those who have different political leanings to me who will then chose not to vote for me.

And that’s ok. Because there will also be people who will want to vote for me because they have the same values.

It’s knowing those values of who you vote for that is important. Especially if they don’t represent a political party. Ask yourself if you know how they will vote on the crucial decisions. Which way will they lean when it comes to services that will effect your everyday life. Who will they align with?

You won’t get the chance for another 5yrs. So make it count.

Well this is very exciting! I am really pleased to announce I have taken my own advice from my last post. I am now the Conservative candidate in the upcoming Local Elections, standing in the ward of Lampeter Velfrey. So much of our day to day lives is impacted by decisions made not only by Government, but also by our local authority, Pembrokeshire County Council. I want to offer my service to try to ensure the right decisions are made for the benefit of residents. If I am elected I promise to work hard for Lampeter Velfrey Ward. I hope to see many of you when I am out and about, meeting you and listening to what is important to you.
