Born exactly 157 years ago, today, Edgar Chadwick.
The Blackburn-born forward was one of the Toffees’ finest-ever inside-forwards. He blended creativity with a remarkable goal output (104 goals in 300 games). A league champion with EFC & capped 7 times by England. An EFC great.

Wishing former Everton player Bobby Laverick a very happy 88th birthday. Bobby, signed from Chelsea, was one of a number of left wingers the club signed as it sought a long-term successor to Tommy Eglington. He moved on to in 1960, after 23 Blues appearances.
