The Liverpool Athenaeum Founded in 1797, the Athenaeum is Liverpool's most prestigious members club. Applications are welcome. Venue available for hire.

It was established as an elegant location for members to gather together to discuss news and exchange information away from the overcrowded coffee houses of the Georgian high street. The beautiful Athenaeum building in use today dates

from the 1920's and is available to hire for weddings and other formal events. The club is open for prospective membership.
