On Sunday 20th Sept we will be open for tours around the house for National Heritage Week.
Something new for this year will be images on the doors to the rooms which will show you what the rooms might have looked like in Georgian & Victorian times.
Here is a sneak preview of one of the rooms.

A terrific Love ❤️ Littleborough Festival to day at Hare Hill Park. Thank you to all the volunteers, stall holders, music acts and most of all the Littleborough community for making it a great day.
We had a fantastic day at Hare Hill House, our crafts were busy and the wishing tree was full of your ideas, and all our cakes sold in our pop up cafe. Special thanks to LEAF for organising a wonderful event, that should become a fixture in the annual calendar. Our Thursday Renovation Team have been working on a room which has, over the 250 years, been the house kitchen, a pantry and an office.
Last week whilst prepping the room for its new use, we came across some window panes inside a wall.
These are a little unusual as they are interior windows and if we uncover the other side we think part of them will appear on the servants staircase / park keepers accommodation stairs.
If anyone who has worked or lived in the house and remembers these windows, can you please let us know. Thank you Iain

Hare Hill House, Littleborough Volunteer Day this Saturday 4th July, from 10.30am. Come and help create and support Littleborough's Community Hub. Refreshments and lunch provided.
We will be focusing upon preparations for Woollen Woods and the Love Littleborough Festival taking place on Saturday 25th July. Our History Group will also be meeting.

Come and join our fantastic volunteer team this Saturday, 6th June for our monthly Hare Hill House, Littleborough Volunteer Day. Doors open from 10.30am, refreshments and lunch provided. We will continue our preparations for Woollen Woods, our contribution to the Love Littleborough festival taking place on the 25th July.
Our History Group will also be meeting to discuss the Newall Trail.

As a resident of Littleborough I strongly object to the sale of Hare Hill House and adjoining land for development and wish that it be retained for the use of the people of Littleborough to whom it was originally entrusted into the care of Littleborough Urban District Council, and not sold off as a asset of Rochdale MBC.
