We had to say goodbye to Hector Bello yesterday, the most special dog we have ever known. From the day he found us in a seaside village in Greece to the day we said goodbye he told us everything with his eyes. With those eyes he told us that he wanted us to take him home and then how grateful he was that we saved him from the fate that would have inevitably fallen upon him due to his condition. His eyes told us when he needed more medication and then yesterday morning those eyes told us he was done and then those eyes told us we were doing right by him then they closed and his journey ended so peacefully. Thank you Hector for sharing your journey with us and thank you to all that made it possible.
