This week, Habitat ReStore Lisnagelvin held their summer social evening to celebrate all that volunteers bring to our work. ⭐️

Every month, volunteers from across Ireland contribute more than 6,000 hours in ReStore. We are always thankful for all that volunteers contribute to our mission and it’s wonderful to have the opportunity to show our appreciation for all of you!

Are you free later this month to lend a hand in Habitat ReStore Athlone?! 🔨🖌

We need volunteers throughout w/c Monday 15th June to help us get the store ready for opening!

No skills needed, just a willingness to work as directed by the Habitat Supervisors. Tasks will include painting walls, building shelving, sorting donations, merchandising stock and much more!

🌟WE ARE FINALISTS🌟

We are delighted to be finalists in three categories at this year's Ards Business Awards:
- Contribution to Local Community
- Responsible Business (Sustainability)
- Purpose-Driven Organisation

We're looking forward to the awards event later this month 👏

Habitat for Humanity Ireland launched Habitat ReStore as a way to serve more local families. The social enterprise directly tackles poverty locally; supporting the growing number of low-income families who cannot afford to make vital improvements to their homes, diverting tons of reusable materials from landfill and providing employability and training support including for vulnerable groups.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, customers, donors and staff who continue to make our work possible!

Today marks the beginning of Volunteers' Week 2026! Throughout the week we will share stories and celebrate the volunteers who make our work possible.

Today we're celebrating the amazing ReStore volunteers who, across 8 ReStores, invest 6,000 hours every month. Each one of them makes a huge contribution to our mission.

Through ReStore, Habitat directly tackles poverty here in Ireland, helping thousands of local people improve their homes at low cost. ReStore also provides training and employment opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities and diverts tons of reusable material from landfill which protects the planet.
