Renting in Lincoln is changing this month.

The Renters’ Rights Act comes into force today, on 1 May 2026, bringing major updates for both landlords and tenants.

🏠 What it means:
☑️ More security for renters
☑️ Clearer responsibilities for landlords
☑️ Changes to eviction rules, including the end of Section 21

Whether you rent or let a property, it’s important to understand what’s changing.

This is not a scam, and crucial to helping us deliver quality services to you all, we appreciate your time and thank you to those that have completed them.

We are currently carrying out property condition surveys across our housing stock. These surveys help us plan future improvements by assessing key areas of your home such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, roofs and more.

Our new contractor, MLCS3 Ltd, will be contacting eligible tenants to arrange an appointment.

Appointments take around 45 minutes, and surveyors will need access to all areas of your home, they will also carry approved photo identification.

If you have any questions, please contact our Investment Team on 01522 873679 or email [email protected]

Thank you for your cooperation.
