πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈ Work is now underway to reinforce the embankment at Yarborough Hill in Lincoln.

Over the next three months, we'll be:
βœ… Strengthening the slope
πŸ’§ Installing 275m of new drainage
🚢 Rebuilding footways
πŸ›£οΈ Improving long-term safety for everyone using the route

To help keep Yarborough Road open for most of the project, a dedicated haul road is being built from Long Leys Road, allowing materials to be brought in while minimising disruption.

Some temporary traffic management and footway closures will be needed while works take place. Thanks for your patience while we deliver these important improvements. πŸ‘

🚧 Major embankment repairs on Yarborough Hill in Lincoln are due to start from Monday 15 June and will continue for up to three months.

The works will reinforce the embankment above Whittons Park, install new drainage, improve the road surface and footways, and help prevent future ground movement issues.

βœ… 275m of new drainage
βœ… Safer footways and road surfaces
βœ… New street lighting, fencing and kerbs
