Paper Aeroplane Making – 10th October 26

To celebrate our upcoming Red Arrows Evening on 13th October 2026 we are inviting children, parents and carers to join us for a fun, hands‑on session all about making paper aeroplanes.
We’ll have three groups to suit different ages and abilities – from simple paper folding to creating a two‑piece tail‑plane model. Once everyone has built their masterpiece, we’ll head into the main hall to see whose plane can fly the furthest.
A relaxed, creative session for all ages. Come along, have a go and get ready for take‑off.

This is a free event. Just turn up.

Come along and have a go at making a mini-scarecrow on Saturday 19th September from 10am to 12pm.
Perfect to get you in the mood for this year's village Scarecrow Trail, which takes place over the same weekend.

Our 'Knit and Natter' sessions run on Thursdays up to December 10th for the rest of the year...
Come along between 6pm and 7:30pm and get creative in our friendly group.

Summer Reading Challenge — Earn 50 House Points!

Did you know students from St John’s Priory Academy can earn 50 house points by completing the Summer Reading Challenge! What a fantastic start to the new school year. Remember to keep your completed booklet safe over the holidays and take it into school in September to show your new teacher.

Don't forget tomorrow we have make your own bagpipe! Kilts are absolutely not essential. 10am -12 noon. Free event.
