Before bagging everything up:
🌿 Could you compost it?
🌿 Could it be reused in your garden?

A bit of planning can reduce what you throw away.

We are very pleased to confirm that Lincoln will host the opening stage of this year's Lloyds Tour of Britain cycle race.

Starting and ending in the city, the stage will take place on Wednesday 2 September, before the race moves on to Boston and Skegness the following day.

With international riders, teams and supporters coming into the city for the race, we expect it will have an incredibly positive impact both on the day and long after the peloton has departed.

We are very proud to have played our part in bringing this fantastic event to the city.

If you're driving into the city for this weekend's Paul Weller concert at Lincoln Castle then this is the place to start planning your visit.

Have you made up your mind about where to park? If not, the map below should help. Best of all, we have evening rates from 6pm so you can stay tonight and into tomorrow.

All our car parks are either surface-level or multi-storey, so there's no need for you to be going underground to park.

However, please note that parking on the grass at The Lawn is not permitted.

It's going to be warm this weekend - hopefully it's the start of a long hot summer - so don't forget your suncream and we hope you enjoy the show!

You Got The Love, and we've got the parking!

Pete Tong is bringing a bit of Ibiza to Lincoln tonight as the second act in this year's series of concerts at Lincoln Castle.

There are plenty of parking spaces available across the city, with evening rates from 6pm. However, please note that parking on the grass at The Lawn is not permitted.

Galvanize your evening by sorting your parking before heading to Lincoln Castle.

Evening rates apply through until 8am, so whether you're Clubbed To Death after an unforgettable night or dancing away in the Age of Love, you won't need to rush back to your car.

If you are visiting Boultham Park over the coming weeks, please be aware why this piece of work has had to be done.

Despite the weather, crowds still turned out in force for yesterday's RAF Waddington Freedom of the City Parade.

This annual tradition celebrates the strong bond between the Royal Air Force and the people of Lincoln, and it was fantastic to see so many people lining the streets in support.

Thank you for celebrating with us! 🎖️✈️

UPDATE: Sadly, due to the current weather conditions in the city, and specifically the low clouds, the Red Arrows have informed us they are now unable to take part in today's event. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.

Today's the day that Lincoln will once again be filled with pride as the RAF Waddington Freedom Parade takes place in the city.

Organised by the city council, in conjunction with the Royal Air Force, the Parade begins at St Martin’s Square at 11:30am, proceeding down the High Street to the war memorial.

Then, at 11.40am, the Red Arrows will perform a flyover.

This annual tradition is a celebration of the strong ties between the RAF and the people of Lincoln. It’s a moment to come together, show support, and enjoy the impressive sight of over 100 RAF personnel, including an RAF Band, marching with military precision through our city streets.

Come along to celebrate with us today!
