πŸŽ“βœ¨ What a wonderful day celebrating our Nursery Graduation! βœ¨πŸŽ“

We are so incredibly proud of all our nursery children, who performed beautifully in front of their families. They sang, smiled and showed such confidence as they marked this very special milestone.
It was a joy to see how much they have grown throughout the year, and we were delighted to share the celebration with so many proud parents and family members.
A huge well done to all of our amazing nursery graduates β€” you are ready for your next big adventure! 🌟

Our P7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day at the Streetwise event today, taking part in a range of informative workshops designed to help them stay safe and make positive choices.

They heard from a variety of organisations including climate action groups, bicycle safety experts, the Fire Service, Police Service, NIE, Translink and many more. The pupils learned valuable lessons about personal safety, road safety, environmental responsibility and staying safe in everyday situations.

A very engaging and worthwhile experience for all involved!

P3/4CL have been reading our Core Book β€˜The Secret Sky Garden’. This week we used oil pastels to create our own beautiful gardens inspired by the illustrations in the book. We also worked together to make our own little gardens using what we could find in our forest areas.

This week, both SLC classes took a day trip to Tropical World. We saw lots of wildlife and found out lots of new information...did you know, millipedes have around 600 legs?! - and sloths only come down onto the ground once a week?! It was an amazing day and we didn't let the weather dampen our spirits.

β˜€οΈ A Splash of Sunshine in P3TB! β˜€οΈ

This morning, P3TB got creative as part of our Here Comes the Sun topic. Using tissue paper and lots of careful cutting and sticking, we created these beautiful sun catchers to brighten up our classroom windows.

The children explored warm colours, worked on their fine motor skills, and enjoyed seeing how the light shines through their finished artwork. Even on a cloudy day, our classroom is full of sunshine! 🌞🎨

Well done, P3TB – they look fantastic! 🌟

Our children in P4 were learning all about wheelchair basketball today. We are fortunate to have Callum in our class who is a fully qualified basketball referee and recent award winner for his Volunteer work in the sport. By experiencing what it is like to use a wheelchair to move and shoot the children empathise and respect those sportsmen and women who play this sport. A big thank you to Callum for his guidance today.
