Writing this really saddens us, and words can’t explain how this has affected us and how it will continue to affect us in the coming days, months and years. We have no option but to close with immediate effect.
Lots of time, effort and our personal savings went in to setting up GrandKidz. We really believed in this project and invested heavily for which we will now have to face difficulties and loss.
We both went into this with our hearts more than anything else, and pushed very hard for this to work! We really put in 110% each day, and it hasn’t worked out the way we dreamed.
I would like to make the following clear, just to avoid any confusion, and avoid you all being misled by anonymous Facebook posters…
1. I can confirm booking is closed online and has been for a few days now.
2. We do have approximately 7 or 8 people only that we need to get back to who need to be refunded as their date was cancelled or changed or not yet decided.
3. We do not have any party bookings.
There is always more negativity online than positivity, it’s why I wanted to make the above clear… since been open we have had more of the latter from particular individuals when all we were doing is trying.
We have honestly loved serving you all, even though it’s been such a short period of time, with many we built strong friendships and felt like we had know you for years rather than months…
