Working Party Third June Task,
Thursday 18th June 09:30

Next week we shall be working in Icknield Wood, checking whips, sorting invasive species on the Large Marsh, and on path and dead hedge maintenance.

Working Party Second June Task
Thursday 11th June 09:30

Next week we shall be working around the north end of Jump Wood, by, and in, Norton Stream, clearing it, and doing similar work to recent Tasks, tidying and clearing, on the corner opposite, across McFadyen Ride, by the lonely bin!

If all that has confused you, just be at the Container at 09:30, to walk with the truck, or take a look at the map!

The new toy (super mower) will also be in use on the Common. We're encouraging several volunteers to prove how easy it is to use.

Working Party Second May Task,
Thursday 14th May 09:30

This week we shall again be working in several locations, notably along the Drain, to clear Leaky Feeder Dams, also at the top of the Avenue, to clear a fallen tree to dead hedge. We shall also be removing any remaining stumps from the mown grass area, and invasive species.

This week we shall be working in several locations, notably to sort a wayward tree on the Pix, (which is the stream running east to west through the north of Pix Wood); and carrying out general maintenance, clearing debris and fallen trees.

Working Party Second March Task,
Thursday 12th March 09:30

After last week's escapade, this week we’re back in the middle of the Common in Chiffchaff Wood, clearing paths, and using the brash obtained to create dead hedges. A ‘steady easy Summer Task’ on (allegedly), a cool dry morning.

Meet at the Container at 09:30 to walk over with the truck, or park on, or just off, Wilbury Road, and walk through the Common from there.
