🎉 MORE PRIZES TO ANNOUNCE! 🎉

We’ve been busy picking winners from our Shetland Library Challenge: The Big Splash!

We had over 310 young people sign up for the challenge, and 72 completed entries went into a very big hat for our prize draw! 🎩

✨Congratulations to our winners in the The Big Splash! colouring competition (as part of our Shetland Summer Library Challenge)✨

We were delighted to have Gareth from Shetland Amenity Trust take on the mammoth task of judging all 156 entries... and what a challenge it was!

With 156 fantastic entries to choose from, Gareth certainly had his work cut out! There was so much creativity, colour and imagination in every entry that picking just one winner and three runners-up was no easy task.

A huge well done to everyone who took part. We loved seeing all your brilliant creations! And a very special congratulations to our four winners!

Brilliant (and FREE) opportunities coming up next week for Adult Learner's Week. This looks particularly good fun!

Adult Learner's Week is 7th-13th September, and we have a number of FREE classes to celebrate learning.

Make, Create, Reuse, Play! is a fun and relaxed session for parents. Get creative, try out simple craft activities and discover fun ways to reuse everyday materials.

Tuesday 8th September, 1800-2000 at Islesburgh Community Centre.

This class is FREE but places are limited and booking is essential!
