This was a great comment from a mam recently - the more books they take out from the library, the less screen time is requested. That's a great change indeed!

As mentioned in our previous post, we have two great platforms for eBooks and eAudio!

With eBooks you can make every book a large print with great adaptive options!

Both apps have a great range of eAudio books !

Libby also has magazines and the print size can also be enlarged on these depending on your device.

Ask staff for demonstrations or help to sign up.

Week

This was a comment we had on instagram recently from someone who is enjoying using our ebook apps as an alternative to buying them.

We have two apps - Libby and Borrowbox. They have eAudio, eBooks and Libby also has thousands of eMagazines.

Ask us for a demo next time you're in the library - it takes nothing but your library card details and PIN to get you started!

Hi Vis Fortnight starts today!

This is a national campaign which celebrates and puts focus on Library Vision Services.
Come along anytime during the fortnight to find out more about our Vision Services and how we can help you. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

fortnight seeks each year to highlight the wonderful world of accessible reading. Reading is something which can and does bring us together, regardless of what or how we read.

Hi Vis provides an opportunity to raise the profile of accessible library services, collections and activities; to connect people with vision and print impairments to libraries, to reading and to fellow readers.

LIBRARIES CHANGE LIVES WEEK
1 - 7 June

This is the week which libraries everywhere will be shouting loudly about the massive impact their services have on their communities and customers.

We'll be sharing some of the lovely comments from our customers over the week.

If you wish to celebrate and revel in the work that your library does, comment on our posts with your own stories. You can also write on our flipchart in the library.
