Alongside the toys, we'll have some handmade wiggling characters for sale at the Gala. Pop by our stand and why not treat yourself to a slice of homemade cake available inside the Library.
All proceeds go to help with the costs of running the library

On sale from today our beautiful 2027 Bradgate Park Calendars. Would make a lovely Christmas gift at only £8 each.
All proceeds help us to run and maintain the library.

Gala Day Saturday 12th September. Special offer for gala day only. Children's books priced at 3 for £1.00. Books to suit all ages from birth to teenagers.

Next Wednesday's Social Afternoon features a
film from 2001 starring Kate Winslet, Tom Hollander and Dougray Scott.

During World War 2 the British Authorities enlist Tom Jericho to help crack a code before the Nazi's can attack the American fleet. Whilst doing this he has a personal mystery to solve, the disappearance of his lover.

With the musical score written by John Barry there will be soaring highs and lows to this intriguing drama.

Enjoy a drink, chat and cake for only £3.50 per person.
Films start at 2.pm

Alongside our fabulous selection of toys, we'll also be bringing a range of handmade items to the gala. Here's a preview of some lovely flower presses, perfect for preserving your favourite blooms. Each press comes with easy to follow instructions and is available in a variety of sizes and woods making each piece unique.
Keep your eyes peeled for more previews coming soon.
And, of course, don't forget that we'll have a tempting selection of homemade cakes available in the library.
We can't wait to see you!

A date for your diary...
Saturday 12th September is gala day.
Please be sure to visit the library and sample our delicious home made cakes and assortment of hot and cold drinks.

We are delighted to report that our Wednesday afternoon social club will reopen after the summer break on Wednesday 2 September.

Next Wednesday's Social Afternoon features a British film from 1996 starring Ted Danson and Joely Richardson. An American scientist is dispatched to Scotland to prove (or not) once and for all if there is something lurking in the deep!

A pair of glasses with yellow string attached has been found outside the library. They are inside the library for collection during opening times.
