As we aporoach the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Leicestershire firefighters have taken part in a memorial event of climbing 110 floors alongside firefighters from around the world.
The event was held at Truist Stadium Atlanta Braves and hosted by Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services
343 firefighters were killed that day responding to world trade centre site and 600 firefighters have died of illness related to rescue & recovery work.
All the crews are raising money as part of the event. If your able to help please do even if its only a £1
Through this mission, we aim to raise vital funds for three incredible charities that provide life-changing support to emergency service personnel and their families:
The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund – supporting firefighters and families in times of need across the United States.
The Fire Fighters Charity – helping UK firefighters and their loved ones recover, rebuild, and thrive through physical, mental, and social support.
The Blue Light Card Foundation – championing the wellbeing of the entire Blue Light community, including emergency services, NHS, social care, and armed forces personnel.
