We focus on early years communication, language and literacy development through storytelling. Story Explore Is a social enterprise on a mission to bring storytelling and books into the lives of all children. We run multi sensory storytelling sessions in the community and then use the profits to invest in making book bags to gift to vulnerable children/children in care. A fun and interactive group

for 0-5 year olds. Together we share interactive story together, then explore it in fun and exciting ways. Including messy play, mark making, small world play, outdoor exploring, sensory experiences, British sign language and of course lots of STORYTELLING! The group is 5-12 weeks long and is an hour. During this time your child will explore all areas of their development, as well as gaining a life long love of books and reading. The groups are relaxed, fun and most importantly not over subscribed! We keep numbers relatively small, this not only enhances your enjoyment, but the babies and children's too. My name is Freya and I worked in the Early years field for many years, specialising in early years speech, language and communication development. I am first aid trained, NVQ level 3 qualified in early years education, signing trained as well as a multitude of others things too long to list here. Most of all I am warm, welcoming and passionate about children's early years development. I am also a Mum to my baby boy Alby.

My dream was to allow children to step inside the story. To experience what it feels like, sounds like, to be immersed in the wonders of books and play.

We create play experiences based on the book we are sharing, allowing children to re create the story and be inside the pages!

Here we cracked the golden egg, played the harp music, counted the magic beans, found the giant, and wandered through the clouds.

Meet our new training manager Sam!

You will recognise Sam from Story Imagin-ory South Leicestershire - with Sam. She’s been with the company forever, both as a customer, en employee then a franchisee.

Sam will now be taking over the role of training manager, seeing new franchisees through all of the modules, assessing and supporting.

As the company is growing I knew I needed to expand our management team, and you are in the BEST hands with Sam.
