Happy International otter day 🦦

Asian short-clawed otters are the smallest otter species on the planet. They live in family groups, communicate through a repertoire of vocalisations, and use their nimble little paws with a dexterity that frankly puts most of us to shame.

They're also Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, threatened by habitat destruction and an illegal pet trade that thrives on exactly how endearing they are.
