Congratulations to Cpl Will Trafford, Cpl Henry Baddeley and Cdt Ryan Webster who attended and passed their Bronze Wings training at 639 Aviation Ground School (AGS) at RAF Tern Hill. It is a tough training day and they have certainly earned the right to wear their bronze Wings.
Well done all of you.

Another awesome day out for our cadets at the National Air and Space Camp at RAF Syerston. The cadets had the opportunity to meet with 73 leading industries from the aviation sector.
They toured static displays and had the chance to fly in complex aircraft simulators. To finish the day, a fantastic flying display. What a smasher

Another awesome day out for our cadets at the National Air and Soace Camp at RAF Syerston. The cadets had the opportunity to meet with 73 leading industries from the aviation sector.

We recently held our Squadron summer camp In North Wales where we introduced 35 cadets to some new and varied experiences. These were designed to push their Physical and Mental boundaries whilst improving teamwork, leadership, confidence and problem solving. At the same time, we ensured all of our activities were fun and safe.
Activities included;
High ropes
Raft building
Navigation
Hill walking
Coasteering
Underground trampolining
First aid
Leadership training
Camp craft
Command tasks
Space Studies
Air Museum visit
RAF Engagement and careers visit

On Saturday 21st June, under a blazing summer sky, 11 proud cadets were invited to celebrate the retirement of His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant Sir Ian Dudson.

They carried themselves with dignity and respect. Sgt Lewis Hancock and I had the honour of taking the cadets to represent 60 Sqn, the Wing and RAFAC.

There were many dignitaries present who personally thanked individual cadets for being present, looking smart and helping to create an enjoyable evening.
