As previously advised by post to affected residents, Horton Parish Council have arranged for a suitable contractor to carry out hedge cutting work to Dunwood Lane and Station Bank at Rudyard, in the interests of highway safety.

Weather permitting, we can now confirm that this work will take place between 10:00 and 12:00 on Thursday 13th November 2025.

Any disruption will be kept to a minimum and we apologise in advance for any temporary inconvenience caused. We appreciate your support whilst we complete this important work.

Clerk to the Parish Council

Horton Parish Council is looking to employ a Parish Clerk.
This is a part time time role, 15 hours per month. Successful applicant would need to be able to attend monthly meetings at Horton Village Hall at 7pm on Tuesday Evenings. Provisional start date – 1st May 2025.
The closing date for applications is the 28th March 2025.
