Well it's going to be a very sweaty week ahead! 🌞
What are your top tips for staying cool when looking after your baby? We want to hear them!! Frozen muslin cloths can provide a refreshing back cooler or sticking your feet in a cold bowl of water/on a pet cooling mat through feeds.
Your baby may want to feed more often, and they are not the only one who will be feeling more thirsty, what is your favourite way to stay hydrated? You might find more night wakings again too, prepping yourself as cool a room as possible can help you both and keeping baby lightly dressed for comfort.
Exclusively breastfed babies under 6mths do not need extra water in hot weather, your breastmilk has all they need in it. If you are combination feeding offer more breastfeeds before anything else.
You can offer water with solids if they've started eating and high water content fruit and veg can help too.
