Leeds City Council are looking for someone to work various hours on a casual basis to support and lead the on-site delivery of a Department of Education-funded Holiday and Activity Fund programme. Working at a designated community hub or libraries across Leeds you will work in partnership with Leeds City Council colleagues, departments, Third Sector organisations and other providers directly delivering to activities to children and families taking part in the programme.
Key requirements' :
• Employment is subject to a DBS check
• Current and valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (completed within the last three years) or be willing to undertake a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate training (online). This training is provided by the programme at no cost to the employee but it is essential that it is completed and passed before casual hours are offered.

Leeds City Council are looking for a Specialist Cleaning Operative.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role focused on cleaning and maintaining council properties, including deep cleaning of vacant or vulnerable housing. The job also involves a mix of tasks such as waste removal, gardening, basic maintenance (e.g. painting, minor repairs), and clearing outdoor spaces.
You’ll work across different sites, sometimes dealing with challenging or hazardous environments, and contribute to keeping communities safe, clean, and welcoming. Strong teamwork, flexibility, and a practical, “can-do” attitude are key to succeeding in this varied role.

Location: Mobile Leeds City Council District
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Working pattern: 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,185 to £25,989 per annum
Essential skills: Hold BICS Level 1 and 2 Certificate.

Northern Gas are looking for people who are ready to kickstart a career as a Customer Engineering Apprentice in their gas network. This is work that matters, protecting people, homes, and communities every day.

As a Level 3 Customer Engineering Apprentice at Northern Gas Networks, you’ll attend a range of callouts to assess what’s happening and take the right action. You’ll support customers when something's not right in their home, helping to resolve gas-related issues safely and effectively.

2-year Fixed Term Contract - Travelling across the network
