Rotary Club of Leeds

Rotary Club of Leeds Welcome to the Rotary Club of Leeds! We are a group of men and women from the Leeds area.

We involve ourselves with the local community in a number of ways - with youth and the schools, with the aged and those with special needs, with support for the hospices and the homeless. We subscribe to the aims of the Rotary movement in the promotion of programmes to further international understanding and peace, and to promote literacy, good health, clean water supplies, and the eradication of hunger.

What a day!

On Sunday, over 100 walkers joined us at Temple Newsam for the Leeds Rotary Clubs Sponsored Walk, raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. Together you’ve already helped raise an incredible £13,000 – with more still to come!

We’re so grateful to everyone who took part and supported the event. A special thank you also goes to the Lord Mayor of Leeds and Leeds Rhinos for being part of the day.

If you weren’t able to join us but would like to support, you can still donate here: www.justgiving.com/campaign/leedsrotarywalk2025

We’ll be sharing an official update soon with the final total and all the brilliant photos – but for now, thank you for making yesterday such a success!

No need to pre-register just turn up (and pay the registration fee) for the Sponsored Walk at Temple Newsam Park on Sunday 31st August from 11am (walk starts at noon). Before the walk begins, come and meet Alfie Edgell from the Leeds Rhinos, take a selfie and get his autograph! Enjoy a special performance from the up-and-coming singer from Leeds Jessica Frost.
