This weekend we had a small team taking part at South & West Yorkshire Wing athletics.

The team did us proud with Cdt Bohm collecting 3 gold medals - Long Jump / 100m / 200m.
Cdt Thompson collected a Bronze in the 800m
We had cadets in the final of the 100m in both the U14B / U16B and 200m U14B.
Our U16B also won the 4 x 100m relay

Cdt Bohm will now be representing South & West Yorkshire Wing at the North Region - Royal Air Force Air Cadets competition in June.

Also in the photo is Geoffrey the Giraffe who is raising funds for GOS by attending various events and activities with the cadets.

๐Ÿฅผโš• Essential First Aid โš•๐Ÿฅผ

Over the past few weeks we have been upskilling our cadets with Essential First Aid training.

Congratulations to the 14 cadets pictured on completing your St John's Ambulance Essential First Aid qualification.

Cadets learnt about basic first aid including CPR - skills which they can carry with them both on squadron and out in the public. We know how important 1st Aid training is to all our young people.

Well done all
