đź—Ł Have your say on the name of our new organisation

We’re bringing together Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust— and we’d love your input on the name of the new organisation.

NHS England has given their approval for our Trusts to now develop and submit our full business case that sets out in more detail our plans to unite. We are aiming to go live with this from 1 April 2027 to form an integrated provider for all the health and care services currently provided by our two Trusts across Leeds and beyond.

âś… Voting is now open!
From today, you can take part in a quick online vote to choose your preferred name from a shortlist of four options that meet the national guidelines we’re required to follow.

đź—ł The vote is open for two weeks and also includes space to share your thoughts and comments.

đź•› The vote closes at midnight on Sunday 21 June 2026.

đź”— Find more information and the link to the vote on our website:

We are delighted to announce that Andrea Gill is the winner of the second month of our Thanks a Bunch awards scheme.

Andrea was nominated by Clinical Service Manager Victoria Tate after demonstrating remarkable professionalism, compassion and selflessness while travelling into work. Andrea came across a serious road traffic collision and, realising the severity of the situation, immediately stopped to help. She assessed one of the drivers who was in cardiac arrest and began CPR, continuing lifesaving support until emergency services arrived.

Andrea was recently presented with flowers and a Thanks a Bunch certificate by Laura Smith, Director of People, who said how much of an honour it was to recognise such an incredible colleague.
