📣We're partnering with Unity Homes & Enterprise this month to offer career advice and a free job club!

On 22 September, we’ll be joining Unity Homes & Enterprise’s career fair at Ramgarhia Sikh Sports Centre, Leeds from 12pm-5:30pm. Alongside our in-house contractor, APS, we’ll be chatting through different roles in the Housing sector – from plumbers and neighbourhood officers to customer support and repairs.

Unity Homes & Enterprise will also be joining our Housing Hub this month on the 25 September, 10am-3pm at Age UK Leeds Bradbury Building (Mark Lane, Leeds LS2 8JA) to offer a free job club to Leeds Federated customers.

At our Housing Hub job club, you’ll be able to get support with:

📢 We're carrying out Home Condition Surveys from now until December 2026.

These surveys help us make sure your home is safe, well maintained and up to standard. They can identify repairs you may not be aware of and help us plan future improvements, such as new kitchens or bathrooms.🏠

We've appointed Savills to carry out the surveys on our behalf. You'll be contacted directly with information about the visit. Don’t worry if you’re not home when they visit. They will leave a card with contact details so you can arrange an appointment at a time that works for you.

🗓️On Bank Holiday Monday (31st August) we'll be operating an emergency-only repairs service. This means if you call us on 0113 386 1000, you'll automatically be redirected to our out-of-hours service.

Emergency repairs include things like severe water leaks💦 and loss of all power🔦.
When dealing with emergency repairs, our out-of-hours service will make things safe for you within 4 hours and repaired within 24 hours⌛.

💥If you suspect a gas leak, call the National Gas Emergency Helpline on 0800 111 999 immediately.

👍You can continue to report non-emergency repairs to us by email at [email protected], and we'll pick these up from Tuesday 1st September.

Want to learn some basic DIY skills? Equans will be running a DIY for beginners workshop from 12pm-1pm, there's still time to get here so don't miss out!

They'll also be giving out free toolboxes! 🪛

If DIY isn't for you, you can still chat to our team about housing support, repairs, anti-social behaviour, money matters and more!
