Breaking into the construction industry - Dami's success story

After completing her master's in international construction management, Dami was eager to launch her career in the sector but struggled to find opportunities. That’s when she reached out to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority's Employment Support service.

In West Yorkshire, we back our entrepreneurs.

Our Big Ideas Challenge tasked businesses to come up with innovative solutions to make our region healthier.

This week, we announced our three finalists, which included:
🔹 A tool to help support mental wellbeing by Mind Body Goals
🔹 A remote monitoring system to help hospitals deliver safer and more effective surgical care from Asclepius MedTech Ltd
🔹 An AI-powered wellbeing platform for carers, created by Harmonai Hub
