Our new addition to Stanningley Park has been adorned with lights from Friends of Stanningley Park and natural decorations from the local primary school. A wonderful project which we can build on each year. Thank you to local council who helped with the acquisition and the parks staff who planted it up nicely in the centre of the rose garden making a much needed feature.

Less than 24 hours to go until our Picnic in the Park event and we have to give a shout out to the wonderful volunteers that have given time already to planning and will have a very busy day making sure everything runs smoothly.
Please support this event by visiting the tea and cake tent and putting any space change in our donation buckets. Remember this is a CASH only event. Thank you and see you all tomorrow! ☀️

Keep your ears open for some great music tomorrow at our picnic in the park event.
We not only have Les with his bee chorus and the interactive ukulele band, The bandstanders but we also have:

Tutti! Concert Band - local community band from of all ages and musical experience. Expect many genres including TV & film themes, big band classics, jazz as well as classical pieces and folk songs.

There will be something for everyone. 🎵 🎶 🎺
