Myself and Lead Hand – who is my choice for Activities Officer – sat down to discuss our policies on university societies, and how we would work together next year to make sure information around them was readily available to students. As well as this, we discussed how we would work together to increase representation and inclusivity in both societies and The Gryphon.

The Gryphon should provide a viable platform for anyone who wants to pursue a career in journalism, and should be worthwhile for students to write for. Through regular writers' workshops and more transparency between writers and editors, we can achieve this!

Thanks so much to CivSoc, as well as BioSoc for the endorsements! I would work hard next year to make sure the voices of STEM students are heard, as The Gryphon's writer based is too concentrated in the humanities subjects at the moment.
