Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre - set right in the heart of the picturesque town of Leamington Spa - has just benefitted from a major £14.5m refurbishment programme that has resulted in the addition of a brand-new 100-station gym that features all the latest equipment. These refurbishment works also included the construction of three new group exercise studios, including one specifically designed for

group cycling, and feature a huge range of different classes. There's also a brand-new six-lane, 25m pool, alongside a leisure pool with water slide to enjoy, while the construction of a brand-new sports hall will be completed in Spring 2018.

From 13-20 June 2026, we’ll be supporting vital water safety education to help children and young people stay safe around water this summer.

Throughout the week, our swim teachers will be sharing the Water Safety Code to help everyone stay safe in and around water:

🔹 Stop & Think – Always choose a safe place to swim.
🔹 Stay Together – Always swim with an adult; little ones should be within arm’s reach.
🔹 Float to Live – Tilt your head back, ears in the water, relax, and control your breathing.
🔹 Call 999 – In an emergency, ask for the Coastguard.
