Theme: ‘Contrasts in Urban Nature’
The Leamington in Bloom Partnership, supported by Leamington Spa Town Council, Invites amateur photographers to capture how Royal Leamington Spa’s urban setting balances with nature. Showcase the town’s green spaces such as The Holt, Newbold Comyn, The Dell, and community gardens. All locations must be within town boundaries.

Prizes:
1st: £50 | 2nd: £35 | 3rd: £20

Hello everyone,

We’re delighted to announce our annual in Bloom photography competition is now open for 2026! Supported by Leamington Spa Town Council, we’re welcoming entries from amateur photographers.

The theme for the 2026 competition is ‘Contrasts in Urban Nature’, inviting photographers to capture how the bustling urban setting of Leamington balances and juxtaposes its relationship with the natural world.

The winner will also be invited to a special Leamington in Bloom celebration event hosted by the mayor later this year. An additional eleven highly commended photographs will also be included in next year’s calendar.

The closing date is 5pm Friday, 28 August 2026.

2nd Prize: £35
3rd Prize: £20

Happy Monday! 💚

Members of the Leamington in Bloom Partnership have been busy tidying up and revamping the Packington Place pocket park. 🌿

There's still more work to do and this will continue over the coming weeks, but it's great to see the area already starting to look much better.

A big thank you to everyone involved for giving their time to help improve this little green space for the community. 🪴

What a lovely afternoon on Saturday for the Leamington in Bloom Partnership Open Afternoon!

It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout, with more than ten local green community groups hosting stalls, sharing their work and highlighting opportunities for people to get involved in 2026.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part – the afternoon has a positive, friendly atmosphere and we’re already looking forward to doing it again next year.

Stay tuned for all that’s coming up with the Leamington in Bloom Partnership over the next few months.

Highlights include our annual photographic competition for local businesses. The town will also be entering the Heart of England in Bloom competition, which includes a judges’ tour of green spaces across Leamington.

The photographic competition will launch towards the end of May and run until August, while the commercial premises competition takes place in June.

The programme also feature a stall at Art in the Park this summer and an exciting revamp of the Packington Place pocket park.
