Last week, we were delighted to be invited back to St. MacNissi’s Primary School, Larne, to take part as a ‘Dragon’ in their P7 Dragon’s Den competition.

All of the Dragons had a challenging task selecting a winner, as we were incredibly impressed by the talent, creativity, skill and imagination demonstrated by the pupils. The projects showcased not only innovative ideas but also the hard work and dedication of both the pupils and their teachers.

Events like this provide valuable learning experiences and help develop important skills for the future, including creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and presentation skills.

A huge well done to everyone involved, and thank you for the kind invitation to support such an inspiring event! ⭐

There are also categories where the award is based on public vote which would be fantastic to see the independent businesses be recognised by the community! ⭐

Great day hosting the Go Succeed NI Best Practice event at LEDCOM, Willowbank Business Park!

Advisors came together to share insights, learn from each other, and strengthen the Go Succeed NI service. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, collaborate, and build new relationships across the network.

With around 40 attendees in person and another 40 joining online, it was brilliant to see such strong engagement throughout the day.

Go Succeed is a free business support service designed to help entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow, and scale in Northern Ireland. It offers expert advice, mentoring, and practical support at every stage of the business journey.

And to top it all off, we had an excellent lunch provided by AEL- Access Employment Ltd Larne!

It was a great opportunity to build connections within the Ballyclare community, see the potential of these young people and share the services LEDCOM offers across Ballyclare and surrounding areas.

The power of social media really shows when a community gets behind a local business. 🙌🏼👏🏼

I’ve been so delighted to see the support for Victoria this week. It’s not easy to be open and honest about the realities and struggles of running a business, but when you do and that support comes back, it makes it all worthwhile.

Now more than ever, we need to support our local businesses and the people behind them. They are the heart of our towns and communities. When you support someone like Victoria, you’re supporting families, homes, and livelihoods.

And remember, something as simple as a like, share or review is never wasted. It costs nothing, but it can make a real difference. ⭐

Take a few minutes this week (especially over Easter) to show some love to local businesses on your socials. It means more to them than you might think!
