What a brilliant day at Selston Films in The Park!

Crowds came out to enjoy both Peter Rabbit 2 and Hairspray in the sunshine.

This is just the start of our fantastic summer of events. Don't miss the next one when Hucknall Fest returns to Titchfield Park on 4 July.

Armed with snacks, chairs, blankets and drinks the crowd are settling in for another fantastic film showing.

What a fantastic start to

Families turned out in force for Peter Rabbit 2 and the atmosphere has been amazing all afternoon.

It's not over yet! Hairspray hits the big screen at 6pm!

The sun is still shining so why not head down to Selston Country Park, grab an ice-cream, enjoy some great food and drink from the on-site cafe, and make the most of everything on offer.

We've got a fully stocked bar, face painting, body art and even the Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes have joined us today.

Bring a blanket, bring your friends and join us for a fantastic evening of film in the sunshine!

Peter Rabbit 2 has now begun!

The weather is great, there's a bar, ice cream, donuts and of course treats at the on-site cafe!

There's still time to join us for our 6pm showing of Hairspray!

Between 4pm and 6pm there will be live music and the bar will remain open so plenty of time to come down, relax, enjoy the weather and pick the perfect spot for our evening film!

It's nice and warm, the ice creams are flowing and we're gearing up for our first film at at 2pm - Peter Rabbit 2!

This event is free to attend so come, bring some chairs and a blanket and enjoy the show! There's plenty of treats at the on-site cafe too for a picnic on the grass!

At 6pm we have Hairspray - the perfect chance to grab a drink at the bar and have a boogie!

Selston Films in the Park is today! 🍿🙌

Join us at Selston Country Park today (20 June) from 1pm for a fun packed family day out.

Event schedule:
1pm- Gates Open
2pm- Peter Rabbit 2
6pm- Hairspray

Throughout the day there will be live music, face painting, a fully stocked bar, ice cream and delicious treats in the on-site cafe!

It's set to be a fantastic day so bring your chairs and blankets and gather your family and friends for Selston Films in the Park!

Also here are the Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes, come and say hello!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will no longer be inflatables at this event.

There will be no access to Kingsway Park from Lindley's Lane Walk, via Lindley's Lane or Festus Street entrances, from Monday 22 June.

The walkway will be closed for up to two weeks to allow our contractors to carry out essential drainage work for the Kingsway Sports Hub project.

Kingsway Park can be accessed via Cobden Street from Lindley's Lane Walk, Hodgkinson Road, or Ronchin Gardens.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these works.

The Kingsway Sports Hub project aims to increase access to excellent sports facilities on the park with a new changing rooms, energy-efficient bowls pavilion, extended car parking and new grass mini pitches.
