Yesterday we achieved something really special. We sent Labour a message that they can't treat Kippax and Methley as a 'safe seat' anymore.

We came second. Here's the full results:

1. Labour: 3336 votes, Reform: 3038 votes
2. Labour's majority shrunk from 45% to just under FOUR percent!
3. Turnout up by 50%
4. Greens and Conservatives held their vote shares (If you voted Conservative this time, you just let Labour in again!)

There's no other way to put it: this is a fantastic result. To go from zero to just a few points behind Labour in what they would consider their safest seat is a real achievement.

Thank you to everyone that has supported us so far and to our amazing team of local volunteers.

The work continues: in 2027 there will be another election and we will run again.

In front gardens, shop windows, and on lamposts, you'll find our posters showing Labour that their time is up.

For decades, Labour have treated Kippax & Methley as a safe seat. Somewhere they don't have to try. That ends on Thursday.

If everyone who wants change at the local and national level actually votes on Thursday, we win.

If they don't, Labour get another free pass to continue doing whatever they want, and the Conservatives carry on ignoring our ward forever.

Don't sit it out. Your vote is the one that matters.

Not voting Labour or Conservative isn't enough. If you want to send a real message locally and nationally, you need to vote for something, not just against something.

Reform are the only party challenging the system at every level. New faces. Fresh ideas. No careers to protect.

Our community deserve better locally. And this country deserves better nationally. Both matter. Both are on the ballot on Thursday.

Next Thursday is the day. You'll have one choice and one chance to change things.

You can vote for the Labour party that has held this area for decades, called fixing potholes a "pie in the sky idea", and failed us all locally and nationally.

Or you can vote for someone with a proper plan for positive change who will actually do the job.

That's it. That's the choice.

Still voting the same way and wondering why nothing changes? Here's why.

Labour have had decades here. The Conservatives had 14 years in government. What have either of them actually delivered for you?

We're local - Chris has been out speaking with everyone in our area for the past year, not just the past few weeks. This is his home, not his career.

We're already fighting for you - Methley Quarry. Green spaces under threat. Potholes that never get fixed. Parking issues and antisocial behaviour that's been reported and ignored. We're taking these seriously because we actually care.

We're not protecting anything - No allowance to defend. No political career to safeguard. No party whip telling us what to think. Just a genuine plan to make things better.

We've been here all along - Not just at election time. All year round. Knocking on doors, listening to residents, raising issues.

Labour are terrified - They're writing attack posts about us every day. They're way past worried about our candidate Chris. That alone tells you everything you need to know.

Change only happens if you vote for it - Voting the same way and expecting different results isn't working. This is your chance to actually do something different.

Labour and the Conservatives have had their chance. It's time for someone who genuinely cares.
