Our crew have had a busy few weeks 🚒🔥

Over the past few weeks we've had the privilege of working alongside firefighters from all over Scotland while we played our part in tackling the wildfire in the Cairngorms.

We would like to thank the community of Nethy Bridge & surrounding areas who went above & beyond by organising fundraising and giving up their time to ensure crews were looked with food (special mention for the home baking😋), drinks and welfare support. We are extremely grateful and cannot thank you all enough ❤️

Another thank you goes out to the Highland 4x4 crew who are a fantastic organisation and were a huge help to crews on the hill fighting the fire.

Also a big thank you the employers of our firefighters, the support in allowing staff to leave/miss work to attend incidents is greatly appreciated 🦸

Three members from our crew will be taking part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon tomorrow: Danny, Hugh, and Colin are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We’ve got the gang back together 🥳

First of all we would like to say a massive well done to CC Moan who passed his interview with flying colours today and is now a substantial crew commander and part of the management team at the station 🧑🏻‍🚒

We would also like to welcome back CC Thomson after a very long recovery from a broken femur 🤕 (we have fitted his bike with stabilisers to avoid any future injuries). Thankfully he remembered how to shave 🫣

Also a small win for CC Cameron last week with handing in her completed development folder, CC Cameron is now deemed competent in her role 💪🏽

And last but not least we have WC Sweeney, poor Kev has the wonderful job of keeping us all in check. Turns out it is his circus and we are his monkeys 🙊

Our thoughts go out to local paramedic Carolyn Wilson’s family and friends, especially her two boys Rhys & Craig. Sending lots of love and deepest sympathy from all at Kinlochleven Station 💚💚💚

We are broken hearted to learn yesterday about the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Paramedic Carolyn Wilson 💔

Carolyn attended many incidents over the years with us and she became a good friend who we valued very much giving us great support.

Her love for the outdoors and her photography were only shadowed by her biggest love her two boys Rhys and Craig.

Carolyn we will miss you beyond words our favourite paramedic and friend ❤️

A busy weekend to finish off a busy week of callouts 👩🏼‍🚒

On Saturday evening we attended Kinlochleven’s annual firework display which was a fantastic night, well done to all of the organisers 🎆

And this morning we attended the villages service for Remembrance Sunday where FF Mackay was chosen to lay the SFRS wreath 🚒
