Honestly, this has been one of my favourite Sutton Ward campaigns. I may not have come close to my usual 151 votes, but this was the first time I’ve been able to get over 2,000 leaflets out, spend so much time door knocking, and have such amazing help from so many people.

I truly feel that led to us keeping Sutton as the highest Conservative voted ward in the city. It may not seem like a lot, but I’m so grateful for every conversation I had during this election 🗳️ As I said on my leaflet, residents had five ways to change Hull, so I look forward to seeing that change realised in the coming months 😊💙

Thank you again to everyone who wished me luck and helped out along the way. I couldn’t have got to this point without everyone around me!

It was great hearing from residents who were happy just to finally have a candidate knock on their door! 😊

I’ve received a few emails about this leaflet as of course during any election we’re all leafleting and you’ll get multiple parties literature at once. This is not my leaflet, it’s the Sutton Ward FOCUS (Liberal Democrats) you can see this by reading the imprint.

I’m trying to run a positive campaign in which my leaflet is sticking to issues in the local area. I will not be attack individual candidates or parties.

By Simon Bristow , Co-Editor Campaigning for the Conservative Party in Hull might seem like an uphill struggle these days, but Frankie Williams, chairman of Hull Conservatives, lacks nothing in enthusiasm. The party has not had a representative on Hull City Council since John Fareham lost his sea
