The Band of 150 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps

The Band of 150 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps The Band of 150 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps is the only Army Reserve Band based in Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire. Musical diversity is the key.

The Band's musicians meet twice weekly for rehearsals spending the majority of its time improving their skills and musical diversity whether it be in the wind band or one of their many ensembles. In the interests of the bands performance, it is expected that enlisted musicians attend as many rehearsals as possible but understand that all musicians have other work and personal commitments. The musi

c in the rehearsal often varies from in-depth rehearsals to sight-reading; whatever form teh rehearsal takes it always ensures that all its musicians are employed and working toward an achievable goal. Many engagements are undertaken for a wide variety of sponsors and can include dinner nights, marching displays, concerts, ensembles and other forms of groups.

Fantastic Annual Continues Training (ACT) with a Concert in the Hull Minster with our friends, The Band of The Royal Yeomanry, Nottinghamshire Band of the Royal Engineers, Lancashire Artillery Band & Band of the Royal Anglian Regiment

What a marvellous night at the concert! The full Concert was brilliant as always, but the solo spots are where some of the magic happens.
Huge credit to Musn Stapleton for an absolutely fantastic turn on the xylophone with Helter Skelter by W G Lemon. The control, the speed, the musicality: outstanding from start to finish.
Moments like this are why we love live music. Bravo! 👏

End of an epic week with The Band of 150 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps 🎺🥁
Today we wrapped up our Annual Continuous Training camp, and what a week it’s been.
The highlight? Teaming up with our friends in The Band of The Royal Yeomanry & a special thank you too Musicians from the Nottinghamshire Band of the Royal Engineers, Band of the Royal Anglian Regiment & Lancashire Artillery Band. Proper “band of brothers” energy, laughs in the down time, and some seriously good music-making🎶. It was a fun-packed week from start to finish.
It all came together on Thursday night with our concert at Hull Minster. Great venue, great crowd, and a brilliant way to round off the camp.
Massive thanks to everyone who came to support, and to the band for bringing the noise all week.🎼

Today we celebrate the formation of the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC), established on 5 April 1993 – bringing together five proud corps to form the backbone of the British Army’s logistics capability 💪

From the Royal Corps of Transport, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Royal Pioneer Corps, Army Catering Corps, and the Postal & Courier Branch of the Royal Engineers, the RLC was built to deliver excellence – wherever and whenever it’s needed 🌍

As part of the Corps, The Band of 150 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps is proud to play its role being the last Band in the British Army to wear the cap badge. We are your band & proud to serve within it.
