My Woman Crush Wednesday goes to Diana Johnson, one of the best MPs I have ever met. She is supportive, caring, and genuinely understands people.

I truly appreciate her support during the local elections, joining me on campaigns and always being there whenever needed. Thank you, Diana, for all you do.

Starmer was a good Prime Minister and showed strong leadership throughout his time in office. He remained committed to serving this country and leaves behind a notable chapter in government.

I will miss him.

When I heard a child say on BBC that his screen time was 9 hours a day, I had to pause. These are years children could also spend learning skills, building hobbies and doing more offline. Maybe this conversation is needed after all.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout this journey.

As a first-time candidate, my team and I gave it everything we had and worked tirelessly for University Ward. While we didn’t get the result we hoped for, I’m proud of the effort, the conversations, and the connections we built along the way.

As we remember those lost in the Hull Blitz, we also recommit to building a stronger, more united community.
