Anlaby Park Community Library Hull's only Community Run Library - further details including opening hours on our website www.anlabyparkcommunitylibrary.com We are entirely run by volunteers.

We need to raise £38,000 each year to keep this wonderful library open for our local community. We are always grateful for help from new volunteers too. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved !

Many thanks to everyone that attended our Pop Up Stalls event on Saturday. We raised a fantastic £491.80 and are very grateful to all the volunteers that donated their time to put this event on.

If you didn't get a chance to come, or would like to buy some more plants/books/crafts, please pop into the library. The plants are in the foyer but will probably sell fairly quickly.

We accept card or cash so please come and browse (and maybe borrow a book or two!) during normal library opening hours.

Do you enjoy knitting, sewing, crocheting or crafting? Looking for something to do on a Monday afternoon? 🧶

Come along to our Craft Club and meet with a friendly group of like minded individuals. You can make items for personal use or to raise funds for the library. The perfect excuse to have a chat and enjoy a hot drink and piece of cake!

A gentle reminder that our Technology Class is taking place this Thursday (tomorrow) at the Library. Kindly run by one of our volunteers, join us for a relaxed fun and informal atmosphere to get the most out of your technology!

Want to know about your mobile phone and technology in general? One of our volunteers has kindly offered to run some classes to help!

📞📱💻 Topics to include:
Communicating: Using digital tools like email, (Zoom, Teams) and social effectively and appropriately.
Handling information and content: find, evaluating, creating, editing, and managing digital files, information, and online content.
Transacting: Conducting online purchases, banking and other transactions securely and confidently.
Problem-solving: Using digital tools to resolve issues, troubleshoot problems and adapt to new technologies.
Being safe and Legal Online: Protecting personal data, understanding privacy settings, managing passwords and recognising online risks like scams.

Any age group and any ability are welcome!

We hope you can join us on Saturday 30 May for our Pop Up Stalls! 9.30 - 12.30 - we'll be selling refreshments and ice-creams inside the library with seating outside. Books, Plants and Craft stalls will all be outside.
All run by volunteers and every penny goes towards the £38k we need to raise each year to keep our library open.
