Our Year 5 pupils took part in an important and engaging drowning prevention session delivered by Yorkshire Water today. The children learned vital water safety skills, including how to stay safe near rivers, canals and open water, what to do in an emergency, and how to help others without putting themselves at risk.

A big thank you to Yorkshire Water for helping us equip our pupils with knowledge that could truly save lives. 💙

📝🤪 It’s Bonkers Bingo time! 🤪📝

Join us for a fun filled Bonkers Bingo night on Wednesday 15th July in the school hall. Bring your family along to enjoy this event and help raise funds towards a much needed bike shelter for the school.

🏫📏 Year 1 Exploring Length and Height! 📏🏫

Our curious Year 1 children have been busy investigating height and length around the classroom! 🌟

🏃‍♂️🏅 Year 3 & 4 Athletics Success at Costello! 🏅🏃‍♀️

On 5th June, our fantastic Year 3 and 4 team headed to Costello Stadium for an exciting day of athletics – and what a brilliant effort they showed! 🌟

The children took part in four different events:

⚡ Sprinting
🏃‍♂️ 400m run
🏐 Throwing
🤸‍♀️ Long jump

Each pupil demonstrated great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, cheering one another on and giving every event their very best. We were so proud to see their confidence grow throughout the day!

A huge well done to all of our athletes – you represented our school brilliantly! 👏
