Fab to see East Hull on the National stage this morning

An exciting opportunity is now available for community groups, charities and social enterprises.

Active Hull is looking for partner organisations to strengthen community-led action and increase participation in physical activity in Hull.
As part of the Active Hull work a Community Connector organisation in each locality will act as a bridge between communities, community organisations, area teams and the wider system to ensure insight, priorities and lived experience shape and drive the programme.
They invite organisations to submit an Expression of Interest outlining how they would develop and implement a community-led approach to increasing physical activity within their area.

Submissions should demonstrate how the proposed approach will involve, engage and include local community groups and residents experiencing inequalities, and how the activity will contribute to long-term, sustainable change across Hull.
They will be holding information sessions on the following dates which will give you an opportunity to get an overview of the project and allow you to ask any questions.

The Doctor Oetker kitchen will be stopping in Queen Victoria Square on Saturday 26 September. Families will be able to join either their morning session (from 10am) or afternoon session (from 2.30pm). They’ll get to watch a baking demonstration from our special guest host before getting involved with some decorating themselves in the marquee. The bus will also be open for scones!
